Water Well Field Supervisor
The Water Well Field Supervisor’s role involves overseeing all water well operations for the Hill Country location, building positive customer relationships, closing deals, developing new accounts, ensuring repeat business from existing customers, and positively impacting the company.
AUTHORITY:
To do whatever is necessary to please the customer.
To do whatever is necessary for the safety and well-being of the service, replacement, and sales employees.
Use independent judgment and initiative to take whatever action is deemed necessary to carry out each responsibility, consulting with the President if a decision will have a major impact on the company's financial well-being.
To reduce costs wherever possible.
To assist owners in the implementation and execution of the company’s goals.
To oversee and use disciplinary action when necessary to manage all employees there.
ACCOUNTABILITY:
Total customer satisfaction with service given.
Execution of company goals and directives.
Report to Owners.
ELECTRICAL AND PLUMBING MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the Replacement and Service operations of Water Well department at Hill Country location.
- Oversee CSR operations of Water Well department at Hill Country location.
- Oversee Sales operations of Water Well department at Hill Country location.
- Perform supervisory responsibilities, including hiring, counseling, mentoring, and terminating employees.
- Review the production of all employees and meet with underperforming employees as necessary.
- Develop the agenda and lead company meetings as necessary.
- Responsible for meeting ownership’s business goals.
- Resolve disputes and problems which may arise between employees and departments.
- Resolve customer disputes.
- Attend monthly leadership meetings and assist in the tracking and monitoring of departmental goals and effectiveness at the Hill Country location.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED OR DESIRABLE
1. High school diploma or higher. Formal customer relations and management training
are desirable.
2. Computer literate. Knowledge of Microsoft Windows products. Ability to
work with computerized dispatching, word processors, spreadsheets, and
databases, and good data entry skills.
3. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to attract, keep, and motivate skilled
and valued employees.
4. Salesmanship and promotion skills, seeking and bringing in additional
service business.
5. Financial skills and the ability to read, understand, and react to changing
profit results.
6. An understanding of selling prices, direct costs, margins, overhead expenses
, and the relations between the four.
7. An understanding of the importance of continuous training and skills enhancement.
8. Self-starter, ability to work without close supervision.
9. Ability to deal diplomatically and effectively with both customers and service
Technicians.
10. Basic understanding of technical terms and parts related to the water well trade.
